Case Manager
at CAPSA, you will play a vital role in supporting survivors on their journey to safety and healing. You will provide compassionate, survivor-centered services, ensuring each client feels empowered and supported through every step of the process. Salary: $18 - $22 per hour Job Type: Full-time Employer: CAPSA- Citizens Against Physical and Sexual Abuse Responsibilities
Provide in-person, virtual, and telephone crisis intervention for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Assist survivors in creating survivor-directed action plans, which may include filing protective orders, making police reports, attending court, and securing housing, employment, or financial assistance. Support survivors during hospital forensic exams, offering emotional advocacy and assistance during a highly vulnerable time. Foster strong connections and collaborations with community resources and professionals. Educate survivors about the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence. Assist survivors in developing safety plans and completing danger assessments. Maintain a client caseload, regularly following up to assess progress and address additional needs. Collaborate with and support other case management team members, providing feedback and assistance to best serve survivors. Complete accurate and timely case documentation. Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of CAPSA. Qualifications
Education: Bacheloru2019s degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Ability to work calmly and effectively in crisis situations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with both team members and external partners. Working knowledge of, or strong desire to learn about, trauma experienced by survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Spanish speaking preferred. Why Join CAPSA?
