Director of Operations

Job Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership ensuring clinical and administrative excellence across all sites and programs managed. The Director will be employed by One Health Partners, a management services organization (MSO), which provides financial and operational support to affiliated community health clinics and specialty practices.
The Director may be assigned to one or more community health centers where he or she may serve as a key operational director.
While focused on the health center’s day-to-day operations, the Director remains closely aligned with the MSO to ensure consistency and accountability.
This executive oversees service delivery operations, site management, patient access, compliance systems, and organizational infrastructure. The Director partners with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure that workflows, staffing, facilities, and systems support the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care. The director ensures that operational strategies and practices support One Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, accessible care to underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations across all health center sites, ensuring access, efficiency, and patient satisfaction for affiliated health centers and specialty practices. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s mission and growth goals. Partner with clinical leadership to optimize patient flow, scheduling, and care team performance. Ensure compliance with HRSA, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards. Oversee facilities management, safety, supply chain, and administrative infrastructure. Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives using data and best practices. Monitor operational KPIs and report to the CEO, One Health Alliance MSO, and the Board. Supervise operational directors and site managers, fostering collaboration and accountability. Partner with IT leadership to ensure EHR systems and technology platforms support clinical and administrative needs.
Qualification & Requirements: 7–10+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, ideally within an FQHC or multi-site ambulatory care environment. Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple sites and disciplines. Strong knowledge of HRSA compliance, quality improvement, and patient access models. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams and scaling operations.
