Overview
This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County. It will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. The NC Database Application for Vital Events (DAVE) is the state's electronic platform for registering and managing vital records such as birth and death certificates. It supports the digitization of public health records and facilitates secure data exchange with state and federal partners. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $27.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This is a temporary position; there are no leave or retirement benefits associated with this appointment. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporaries are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time. Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job. Bachelors degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in systems software programming; or Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive experience in systems software programming; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
