About You You are a detail-oriented, results-driven Business Analyst with hands-on experience implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly open-source platforms like Odoo. You possess the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical plans and have a genuine interest in understanding how various systems interact. Youre motivated, organized, and eager to drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring that the solutions you help design are both elegant and effective. Requirements Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager involved in implementing ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, or similar). Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial workflows within an ERP context. Strong understanding of business processes in a supply chain business, including inventory management, procurement workflows, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations. Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to self-manage while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelors degree in business, management, accounting, statistics, or a related field (or demonstrable equivalent experience). Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities. About the Position As a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Rooteam, you will be at the forefront of delivering ERP-based software solutions to our clients. You will serve as the critical liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that client business needs are fully understood, documented, and translated into technical specifications for Odoo implementations or custom ERP extensions. Beyond analysis and solution design, you will take the lead in configuring robust business workflows within the ERP and providing hands-on client training and support. From initial requirement gathering to go-live and ongoing maintenance, you will ensure ERP solutions align with client objectives, enhance workflows, and optimize business performance. Key Responsibilities Become a subject matter expert on our ERP solutions, with a primary focus on the open-source Odoo platform. Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for ERP implementations. Configure and optimize ERP workflows, customizing Odoo functionalities and/or developing custom modules to meet specific client needs. Provide direct, hands-on client training to ensure users can confidently operate, maintain, and maximize the ERP solution. Serve as the liaison between clients, internal development teams, and QA, ensuring a clear and consistent understanding of project goals and requirements. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine project plans, identify edge cases, and break down complex implementation tasks into actionable steps. Oversee ERP implementation phases, including configuration, testing, training, and deployment, guiding clients through each step. Offer ongoing client support, troubleshooting issues, and recommending improvements or enhancements to ensure long-term solution stability.
