Pratt & Whitney is seeking an individual with strong technical, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills to join the 30K GTFA EDSI team as the EDSIT Lead. This position will lead the integration activities across the systems organization and work directly with the Chief Systems Engineer, SIPT, across Engineering CIPTs, Customers and other stakeholders to ensure program objectives are achieved. The GTFA program is entering an exciting period with entry to service; successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced team and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive. Key Responsibilities: Lead GTFA EDSIT meetings Lead integration across EDSI, SSIPT, CIPTs, EPI, and PSCV Balance requirements for the best system solution Identify, own and drive closure for system risks Drive SSIPTs for subsystem problem resolution Assess system impacts for CCB Assign/create cross-functional teams for detailed analysis/problem resolution as appropriate Update/Revise engine architecture Complete/compile system level design review material Develop well-rounded systems engineers
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 10 years of engineering experience with a Bachelors degree or 7 with an advanced degree U.S. Citizenship is required
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced knowledge of sub-system, module, or engine level design integration Experience fostering meaningful relationships with internal and external customers A track record of delivering timely results in a cross-functional team environment Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management Willingness to work across ESW swim lanes Experience using Agile framework
