Specializing in solar and energy storage solutions, they are seeking a Project Engineer to join their innovative team. In this critical role, you will be the technical backbone of their projects, ensuring successful execution and collaboration across various stakeholders. Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical resource for owner representatives, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with the development engineering team, CTO, and technical asset management team to enhance project execution and support their efforts as needed. Develop and document processes and procedures for effective owners engineering work on projects. Conduct technical reviews of EPC, O&M, energy manager, and procurement RFPs, performing comprehensive cost/benefit analyses to support decision-making. Assist commercial and legal teams in negotiating contracts for EPC, equipment purchases, O&M, leases, and asset management. Lead value engineering initiatives with contractors to optimize project performance and cost efficiency. Fulfill Stratas technical owner obligations, ensuring clear communication with EPC contractors, O&M contractors, asset managers, energy managers, off-takers, and interconnection providers. Manage resourcesboth internal and externalto review designs, performance estimates, cost estimates, schedules, and other technical deliverables from contractors. Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for contractors to ensure project integrity. Prepare project update reports and presentations to communicate progress to stakeholders effectively. Represent the Owners technical interests on-site and off-site with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the construction-period closeout of key project contracts, ensuring all deliverables are met. Cultivate relationships with equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering firms, particularly 3rd-party owners engineering firms. Provide technical input for project finance modeling and assist in the hiring of additional project staff as necessary. Assign owners engineering tasks and mentor team members to perform them independently, fostering skill development. Support company-wide continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in an engineering-related discipline. 5+ years of related experience in project engineering, development engineering, or owners engineering, with a focus on solar and energy storage. Strong working knowledge of the energy industry and project finance fundamentals. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and accountability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
