TPI Global Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Firmware Engineer on behalf of our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge server products that power the data-driven world. This role focuses on developing and deploying platform BIOS solutions for next-generation server platforms. We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about server technology and has deep expertise in UEFI/EDK2 development. You will collaborate with internal design teams and other firmware organizations to solve complex challenges and deliver robust, defect-free solutions. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and debug platform BIOS for advanced server systems based on new silicon and board features. Work extensively with an EDK2-based codebase for UEFI firmware development. Apply proven debug methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software integration issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware architecture and requirements. Maintain and support existing product firmware streams, ensuring stability and performance. Qualifications and Experience

2+ years of professional experience in BIOS, firmware, or system software development. Mandatory: In-depth, hands-on experience in UEFI BIOS development (EDKII). Mandatory: Strong programming skills in C and Assembly (ASM). Proven knowledge of x86 system architecture and server platforms. Familiarity with server hardware interfaces (e.g., PCIe, SATA, I2C, SPI). Knowledge of industry standards such as ACPI and SMBIOS. Experience with development tools like Git, GitHub, and Jenkins. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Employment Details
