Salary range:
The full pay range for this role is $93,400 to $155,700 annually. The target range is $118,000 to $130,000 annually. Salary decisions are based on internal equity, work/leadership experience, educational credentials, and location. Scope of Job
Responsible for leading or supporting analyses relating to competitive outlook, site acquisition and interconnection strategy, new market development, customer demand, pipeline reporting, and financial analysis. Supports new business development efforts and analysis, site planning/acquisition, strategic planning, financial management, and administering systems and processes essential to the success, direction and operation of the Region. Responsibilities
Business and Project Development
Project Origination, Greenfielding, and Development Support Performing analyses to evaluate new market opportunities and other relevant metrics to support entry strategies. Supporting project development initiatives, including creating and compiling metrics regarding site identification analysis. Coordinating between project developers and GIS team to present metrics and relevant greenfield analysis into internal GIS prospecting tools. Coordinating between project developers and interconnection team regarding project deadlines and upcoming financial obligations. Market Research and Financial Analysis Maintaining, updating, and improving the Regions buildout assumptions and methodology. Performing market research and financial analysis including the use of Tableau and Power BI and project level financial modeling tools. Structuring and managing the Regions market intelligence file repository. Strategic Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting Supports strategic planning and development of financial and business plans. Supports the preparation and submittal of budgets, plans, and forecasts. Tracks budgets against actual spending across the fiscal year providing insights and data to the development team; analyzes budget data to improve future budgeting and spend forecasts. Creates and maintains dashboards of ongoing budget and spend data. Project Management
Internal Development-Related Duties Overall manage the development of a portfolio of projects: budgeting and finances, project timing and planning, risks assessment and management, legal balance, and exposure of the projects. Coordinate with corporate Resource Assessment Group to review, research, investigate, and analyze potential wind and solar acquisition opportunities. Elevate issues to Directors / Regional VP as necessary. Lead communications with EDF Renewables Program Managers to develop and finalize construction scope of work and drawings. Coordinate with Program Managers on development deliverables and construction timelines. Obtain internal approvals to develop renewable energy projects, including drafting or facilitating investment memos, projections, and capitalization processes. Elevate issues to Directors / Regional VP as necessary. Forecasting and scoping future needs of pre-capitalized and capitalized renewable energy projects. External Development-Related Duties Lead and facilitate communications and negotiations with external stakeholders, including contractors, landowners, permit agencies, utilities, and other stakeholders. Elevate issues to Directors / Regional VP as necessary. Oversight of environmental permitting processes as a precondition of permits. Responsible for securing internal approval for pre-construction analyses required for local permits. Facilitate contracting for pre-construction activities such as preliminary engineering and FAA compliance planning where applicable. Initiate, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with project partners, including power purchasers, utilities, landowners, permitting authorities, etc. Keep Director and Regional VP informed. Manage consultants (environmental, engineering, aviation, biological) on projects, with guidance from Directors / RVP as necessary. Land Acquisition Duties Work with regional team to design and implement land acquisition campaigns, identify landowners, negotiate contracts, and manage related communications. Manage land acquisition meetings requiring advanced negotiations for transmission lines, access roads, and ROW easements. Coordinate real estate due diligence and risk assessment for acquisition opportunities. Submit weekly status reports; assist with QA of contract land agents work. Assist landowner regional staff with ongoing communications and project updates. Operations Systems And Processes
Identify tasks and development areas where systems or system improvements will streamline activities; perform process mapping and optimization. Other

Education/Experience Bachelors in Business, Economics, or related field required. Masters degree preferred. 3 years of experience in handling project management energy-related projects, permitting or real estate experience. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and comfort using web-based industry intelligence solutions, specifically Power BI, SAP, and Tableau Strong organizational, communication and management skills Prior experience in renewable energy Working Conditions
