Global Director of Commercial Development
to
lead its market expansion strategy
in
North America and Asia . This position requires a strategic and hands-on leader capable of identifying new business opportunities, building key partnerships, and driving revenue growth while ensuring alignment with long-term objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the
commercial strategy
for North America and Asia, ensuring sustainable business growth. Identify, evaluate, and secure
new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances . Build and maintain strong relationships with
key stakeholders , including customers, suppliers, and industry leaders. Lead negotiations and oversee
contract structuring
for new commercial agreements. Analyze
market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
to refine the go-to-market strategy. Represent the company at
industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities . Collaborate with
internal teams , including sustainability and engineering, to align business growth initiatives. Build and lead a
global sales team
to drive market penetration. Requirements: Strong experience
in
business development, sales, or strategic partnerships
within the
chemicals and plastics value chain . Previous experience with
sustainable industrial products , with a strong understanding of
bio-based chemicals and renewable technologies . Background in the
PET value chain
and
textile industry , including interactions with
brand owners . Strong
network and commercial experience in the U.S. market . Excellent
negotiation, communication, and leadership skills . Strategic mindset
with the ability to
execute and drive results
in a
startup environment . High
adaptability
to work in a fast-growing, dynamic organization. Bachelors or Masters degree
in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Additional Information: Location:
Based in
Austin, TX , with initial flexibility for remote work. Industry Focus:
