Salary Range:
$94,653.84 - $160,990.50
Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for eCommerce will drive the success of digital merchandising, assortment, and pricing for their designated accounts. This position is key to further solidifying Del Monte’s business and will play a critical role in developing innovative growth strategies for evolving categories.
Primary Responsibilities:
Achieve financial goals for retail.com accounts and the delivery network, ensuring alignment with trade spend.
Develop specific customer objectives in line with Del Monte's strategic plan, focusing on new items, pricing, and merchandising initiatives.
Expand eCommerce share by executing Del Monte's strategic levers with assigned customers.
Support Sales by advising on search needs and promoting eCommerce excellence.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Omni Activation to secure necessary funds for impactful results in the eCommerce space.
Work hand-in-hand with the Senior Business Development Manager and the VP of Omni Activation to execute strategies that meet both immediate and long-term goals.
Identify and nurture relationships with new growth accounts, aiming for incremental volume growth.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any related field is required.
5-7 years of experience in retail sales within the consumer packaged goods industry.
Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive year-over-year growth.
Strength in managing digital shelf presence and retail execution.
Experience providing strategic insights into trade marketing initiatives aligned with customer objectives.
Strong analytical skills for identifying growth opportunities and making data-driven recommendations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Nielsen or similar analytics tools is a plus.
