Cyber threats are everywhere, and the evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them feel overwhelming to government agencies. We need your knowledge as an information security risk specialist to help break down complex threats into manageable plans of action. Youll work with Navy programs to discover cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. Youll gather technical, environmental, and personnel details from engineers and SMEs to assess the full threat landscape, then guide the client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. Youll translate security concepts so clients can make informed decisions to secure mission-critical networks and systems. This is an opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening skills in cybersecurity, security and network tools, and systems engineering. Responsibilities Work with Navy programs to discover cyber risks, understand policies, and develop mitigation plans Gather and synthesize technical, environmental, and personnel details to assess the threat landscape Present findings and guide clients through action plans with milestones Translate security concepts for client decision-making to secure mission-critical networks and systems Collaborate as an information security subject matter expert, expanding cybersecurity, security tools, and systems engineering knowledge
Qualifications
4+ years of experience with information assurance and RMF processes and package development Experience with eMASS Experience with design and development of cryptographic devices, products, and key management systems Knowledge of cryptographic systems such as COMSEC or TRANSEC, key management architectures, and DoD RMF security evaluations and DoD acquisition framework Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders on a cross-functional team; capable of analyzing data, generating solutions, and communicating results Ability to develop program-level documentation (briefings, whitepapers, transition plans) and coordinate technical exchanges Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 IAT II Certification within 90 days of hire

Experience with systems engineering (system assessment, design, specifications, interoperability, testing & evaluation, logistics) in support of C4ISR Experience with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and emerging technologies Experience with Agile methodologies, software engineering, and product management Knowledge of Software-Defined Radios or Tactical Data Link products Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills TS/SCI clearance Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics DoD 8140 IAT II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by factors including location, education, experience, and contract-specific requirements. Projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Identity and Work Model
