We are seeking a dedicated

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

to join our team. This is an essential role responsible for managing all aspects of our company's inbound and outbound shipments. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious individual who can handle both the physical and administrative demands of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage shipment documentation:

You'll prepare and process essential documents like bills of lading and work orders, ensuring all records are accurate for tracking, accounting, and reporting purposes. Process and inspect deliveries:

You'll unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying their contents against manifests and invoices. You'll also promptly notify the appropriate departments of delivery and any shortages or damages. Maintain an organized and safe workspace:

You will be responsible for clearly marking deliveries for the corresponding job or department and properly storing items in designated areas of the warehouse to maintain a clear and safe working environment. Prepping and logging shipments:

You'll use our company's shipping management system and online vendor portals (FedEx, UPS, etc.) to accurately prepare, enter, document and track all shipments. The successful candidate will have at least

3 years of experience

in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in an industrial environment. You must be self-motivated and dependable, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Forklift certification is highly preferred, but we can provide training for the right candidate.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Prolonged periods of working with computer systems and corresponding screens and equipment. Must be able to lift and move up 10 to 50 pounds at a time, some with assistance from equipment. Ability to frequently walk, climb, kneel, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and use a ladder or stool. Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
