Database Developer The Opportunity: As a skilled Database Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, you'll design, develop, and optimize robust database solutions that support Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with application developers, ICAM architects, and security professionals to ensure database components are efficient, secure, and scalable. Experience with MS SQL Server

Experience with T-SQL development, including complex stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions

Experience with source control systems and deployment automation tools

Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments

Knowledge of relational database design, indexing strategies, normalization, and performance tuning

Knowledge of database security principles, including in identity and access management

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and cybersecurity staff

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have

Experience with additional relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL

Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools

Experience with performance monitoring tools for databases

Experience with identity management or secure access control systems

Knowledge of ICAM standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect or FIDO

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Database DevOps practices

Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such NIST, GDPR, or HIPAA

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Microsoft SQL Server certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
