Manage project takeoffs and documentation Prepare project proposals Obtain quotes from suppliers Develop strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, quality control personnel, operations, and management staff Use strong organizational skills for effective project management Leverage interpersonal and communication skills to complete tasks successfully Required Skills And Abilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Flexibility and adaptability to new challenges Willing and able to travel or relocate as necessary for projects Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent construction industry experience Completion of at least one internship with a heavy civil, foundation, or steel erection contractor, or equivalent work experience Experience with heavy civil or foundation work (e.g., mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls) preferred Safety
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Projects may involve heights, confined spaces, heavy equipment, and varying conditions. Night and weekend work may be required on an as-needed basis. Confidentiality
