Manager, Product Manager, Automotive Solutions

to lead the strategy, development, and go to market execution for automotive keys product solutions. This role blends product management leadership across traditional auto keys, transponder keys, and smartfobs. Our solutions involve self-service options, duplication kiosks, and agent-assisted technologies that empowers users to clone or replace car keys in a cost-effective and timely manner. As a key member of our Automotive Solutions team, you will assist with the roadmap, feature set, and go-to-market strategy for our next generation auto key products and solutions. Youll work cross functionally with engineering, industrial design, embedded systems, security, marketing, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners to ensure our auto key solutions meet customer needs, comply with security protocols, and align with the evolving landscape of access technologies. Essential Job Functions

Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and execute the product roadmap for smartfob and keyless instant duplication. Stay ahead of emerging technologies in the automotive sector as it relates to keys, smartfobs, and encryption and duplication technologies. Customer & Market Insights Gather and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to define product requirements. Collaborate with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and aftermarket partners to understand needs and pain points. Cross Functional Leadership Lead and manage a cross functional team through all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to launch. Collaborate closely with embedded software/hardware teams to define specifications and integration paths. Assist with negotiating contracts and partnership agreements with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners Security & Compliance Ensure key fob systems adhere to automotive-grade security standards; partner with compliance and legal teams to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. Go-To-Market & Lifecycle Management Define launch plans, product positioning, pricing strategy, and messaging in partnership with marketing; monitor performance post launch and iterate based on feedback and market response. Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of product management experience in hardware, access control, automotive tech, or related experience. Experience managing both hardware devices and their software (firmware, UI, cloud). Background in embedded systems, electrical engineering, or mechatronics. Familiarity with kiosk platforms, hardware encryption, or secure credential cloning. Experience working with manufacturing, locksmith technology, or self-service retail systems. Ability to travel up to 50% for stores, HQ, and key meetings as needed. Competencies Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent intrapersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced expertise in Excel; preferred experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and other data management or analytics platforms. Deep understanding of automobile keys and keyless systems such as RFID, UHF, BLE, or similar wireless technologies. Work Environment and Physical Demands
