(Flexible for the right person) Be the backbone of day-to-day operations. You'll lead the entire CNC production floor, making sure machines are running efficiently, quality standards are met, and problems are solved fast. This opportunity is with a CNC precision machining company serving aerospace, defense, healthcare, and high-tech industries. With 60 CNC machines (including automation) and a rapidly growing team, committed to world-class quality and performance. What You'll Do Lead & Develop Teams : Manage machinists, programmers, and setup staff; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Drive Production Performance : Ensure machines run at maximum efficiency with minimal downtime. Solve Problems : Address daily production challenges, machine issues, staffing, and schedule adjustments. Maintain Quality & Compliance : Ensure adherence to AS9100 standards and aerospace quality requirements. Improve Processes : Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve throughput and reduce waste. Communicate Clearly : Keep leadership updated on production status and collaborate with scheduling and planning teams. What You Bring 5+ years in CNC machining leadership (aerospace/defense background preferred). Strong technical knowledge of CNC milling/turning and multi-axis machining. Familiar with AS9100, GD&T, SPC, and lean manufacturing principles. Excellent people management skills and ability to drive team performance.
