Overview
Casne Engineering is seeking an experienced System Integrator for Inductive Automation Ignition (remote) to join our technology services team to support a wide variety of mission-critical, real-time operations. You will analyze customer operational and business needs and help design and implement innovative HMI/SCADA solutions. Candidates must have hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, and commissioning HMI and SCADA systems, data management systems, real-time analytics, and reporting systems. A confident, professional, and positive demeanor and a genuine interest in helping users succeed with technology are required. Responsibilities
Analyze customer operational and business needs and design/implement innovative HMI/SCADA solutions. Assist in designing, installing, configuring, and commissioning HMI and SCADA systems. Support data management, real-time analytics, and reporting systems. Engage with customers to ensure successful deployment and user adoption. Required (Technical)
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA Strong understanding of instrumentation and control of real-time processes and data-driven operations Experience designing and developing effective user interfaces for complex equipment and systems Experience with OPC-DA and OPC-UA Ability to troubleshoot device protocols such as Modbus and BACnet Hands-on experience installing, configuring, managing, and supporting modern server hardware and mission-critical applications Working knowledge of SQL and mainstream database technologies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Familiarity with electrical distribution systems Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams Required (Business)
Authorization to work within the U.S. Consistent and dependable work attendance Compliant with criminal background check requirements Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish Deep respect for operational integrity, safety, and uptime in critical environments Strong documentation skills and ability to capture work performed and processes followed Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, verbally and in writing Ability to travel to customer locations as required to research conditions, coordinate with third parties, configure systems, and commission final solutions Also Desirable
Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA in industries such as Power & Utilities, Facilities & Data Centers, or Manufacturing Experience with data historian products (OSIsoft/AVEVA, Wonderware, GE, Timescale, InfluxDB, etc.) Experience working with time series data for machine learning and/or real-time analysis Software development/scripting experience (Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.) Candidates who reside in VA, TX, GA, or IL Company Description
