The Market Director works in collaboration with facility leadership, focused on implementing strategy and initiatives for practice operations and growth. Company Description
Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. Responsibilities Operational oversight and direction of assigned provider practice(s). The Market Director collaborates with the Senior Director and facility leadership to implement strategy and initiatives for practice operations and growth. Leads one or more Ambulatory and Practice Administrators. Oversees all aspects of practice operations and growth, including maintenance of key metrics, financial reviews, and revenue cycle analysis. Responsible for items in the Practice Manager Checklist and any specialty-specific requirements. Interacts biweekly with providers to ensure communication standards and information sharing, and to develop strategies addressing physician operational needs. Prepares and delivers monthly physician reporting packages and reviews financial performance with providers on a weekly basis. Plans and attends quarterly physician group meetings. Prepares budgets, evaluates historical performance, sets goals for future achievement, and performs action planning for variances from budget. Monitors, reports on, and presents financial performance for all assigned providers and practices; collaborates with the Market Director and other practice leaders to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to annual budgets. Provides leadership to Ambulatory and Practice Administrators, including performance management, coaching, and talent development, with at least weekly communication. Monitors practice efficiencies to reduce investment, including accounts receivable oversight, budgeting, charge capture, MOR preparation, and budget oversight; oversees practice start-ups to grow revenue through charge capture, fee schedules, and new programs. Implements and manages the Market Plan for new patients to drive practice growth. Manages support staff within assigned practice(s) and handles performance reviews and other HR-related matters.

Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Master's Degree preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or FACMPE is preferred. Minimum of 7 years in physician practice management or similar healthcare setting, with specific leadership experience.
