Join our dynamic team asa Platform Engineer to build and scale the training, CI/CD, and deployment infrastructure that supports our machine learning and autonomy systems from cloud to edge. Youll work across platform, CI/CD, observability, and edge packaging to enable secure, performant model delivery to real-world systems. Responsibilities: Build GPU training infrastructure using Kubernetes or bare-metal with Docker and Terraform Develop and maintain model registries (e.g., MLflow, ClearML) Github actions and automation CI/CD Design GitHub Actions or Argo workflows for training and deployment Implement unit and integration tests, security scans, and software bill of materials (SBOM) using tools like Trivy Edge Deployment Package models (e.g., Tritor or custom services) for constrained environments Manage updates and ARM64 cross-compilation for embedded devices Observability Implement and maintain metrics/logging stack (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) Monitor system performance, latency, and model drift

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field equivalent experience is also welcome 5+ years experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles Strong experience with Kubernetes or Nomad, Docker Compose, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) Proven success deploying models and AI/ML based applications in production environments Familiarity deploying to constrained edge devices (e.g., Jetson, Raspberry Pi, FPGA) (preferred) Masters degree in a related field (bonus) Familiarity with DoD RMF/STIG frameworks (preferred) Security-focused development experience Pay range for this role $155,000 - $175,000 USD What's in it for you: Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match 4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
