Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Administrator.
This is a 6-9+ month contract position located in Brookfield, WI. This role requires 3 days onsite per week: No Visa candidates - Local strongly preferred. Responsibilities
Implement, administer, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises infrastructure including servers, storage, network and related software and applications. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve physical hardware, software and other network and system problems. Replace faulty infrastructure and out of support software when required. Conduct scheduled system checkups and prepare reports. Provide consultation to business partners related to future system integrations. Ensure disaster recovery solution is operational, maintained and meeting the business needs. Adhere to the company\'s ITIL processes in the ITSM system that documents requests, incidents, problems, and changes. Provide a proactive approach and thought leadership to implement efficiencies to the environment. Deliver excellent customer service, resolving support requests and ensuring prompt and effective resolutions within agreed service timescales. Perform maintenance tasks on supported infrastructure and applications during after business hours maintenance windows when required. Escalate calls where significant service-affecting incidents or security breaches occur as appropriate. Follow standard operating procedures relating to management of the infrastructure platforms and security environments. Complete and maintain accurate documentation. Perform project work and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in an IT Infrastructure delivery and/or support role. Minimum of 5 years\' working experience in an IT infrastructure delivery and support role. Minimum 5 years\' proven experience with system security and enterprise data protection across integrated systems. Minimum 3 years\' experience with enterprise networking - Layer 2 and 3 network switches, OSI layers, TCP/IP, and VLAN and subnet management. Preferred working knowledge of SDWAN. Minimum 3 years\' proven experience with virtualization, containerization, server OS and storage technologies. Minimum 2 years\' proven experience with scripting/automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python, etc. Minimum 2 years\' proven experience with cloud computing. Microsoft Azure is preferred. Minimum 2 years proven experience with supporting Active Directory and Entra ID accounts and policies. Minimum 1 year proven experience with monitoring tools/systems. Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. Valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle for travel to branches. On-call availability for emergency support calls 24/7 with a half hour response time and off-hours availability for maintenance windows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to create accurate architecture diagrams and documentation for integrated enterprise systems and networks. Demonstrated ability to use judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Demonstrated experience in balancing multiple priorities and managing a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
