Such areas include construction inspection, project roadway and bridge inspection, materials testing, project surveying, and program/regulatory compliance. We offer great benefits, including stock ownership in the company, and competitive salaries.

Preferred location: Orlando/Central Florida, but candidates based in other Florida cities will be considered to expand work with other FDOT Districts.

  • Serve as on-site liaison and cultivate team collaboration between the client, company personnel, and the contractor to resolve project issues at the lowest possible level.

  • Brief the client on project issues and provide possible solutions.

  • Make presentations to the Dispute Resolution Board in connection with project disputes.

  • Analyze complex construction and design problems and develop new or improved policies, methods, practices, and procedures.

  • Contract negotiations, budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and overall project profit/loss oversight.

What Skills You’ll Bring

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering

  • PE license. Prefer PE license in the state of Florida (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months)

  • Minimum of 10+ years of CEI experience on roadway and/or bridge projects, supporting DOT clients. Open to candidates with DOT experience in other states willing to relocate to Florida.

  • FDOT Advanced MOT certification and have attended the CTQP Quality Control Manager Course (and have passed the examination) preferred.
