Position: Commissioning Program Manager
Location: On-site - Mountain View, CA
Estimated total compensation: 124,800.00 - 170,500.00 USD per year

Responsibilities
- Perform technical review of commissioning plans and reports to ensure alignment with design intent and current facility requirements.
- Perform technical review of mechanical design and submittals, controls sequences of operation and program logic, and associated functional performance test plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, design guidelines, best practices, and stakeholder expectations.
- Evaluate operating trends, alarms, and other data from the BMS system to validate performance of control systems against design.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure acceptable resolution plans for noted deficiencies in design and construction, and timely completion within the project schedule.
- Represent the client on project teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are addressed.
- Prepare and present reporting to stakeholders to drive effective solutions.
- Proactively identify process deficiencies and support improvements to demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Provide SME guidance within the team and to internal stakeholders to ensure holistic quality assurance with clear value to the client and other stakeholders.
- Support engineering team with commissioning-specific guidance as appropriate.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects, tasks, and initiatives to drive solutions to closure.
- Perform project management of small scale projects related to engineering or controls work.
Qualifications required
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related facilities engineering field with relevant controls experience. (Associates degree with additional relevant experience may be considered.)
- 8+ years of experience in facilities HVAC and control systems.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection equipment and systems, including development and/or review of operating sequences for equipment and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Demonstrated experience in HVAC engineering fundamentals, including trend analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering and/or Industry certification (e.g., P.E., CBCP, CRL, CMRP, PMP).
- Experience leading engineering teams, including determining priorities, delegating work, and managing resources and deliverable deadlines.
- Experience in design, commissioning and operational support of HVAC systems.
- Experience with building management systems (BMS), including logic/programming, points configuration, alarming and trending. Automated Logic Controls (ALC) preferred.
