As the Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer you will be developing mission-critical electrical systems for unmanned platforms. They are looking for engineers who have a passion for building and shipping reliable hardware. Responsibilities
They have a number of open EE roles within this team including power electronics EE, generalist EE and a ground infrastructure role. You will own the full lifecycle of electrical hardware from concept, schematic capture, layout review, through bring-up, validation, and production handoff. You will have key responsibility for architecting and implementing electrical subsystems including:
- Power systems: batteries, BMS, DC/DC converters, and power distribution.
- Motion control: motor drivers, sensors, encoders, and interface electronics.
- RF systems: radios, antennas, and EMI/EMC-conscious layout and integration.
- Digital and mixed-signal board design: microcontrollers, FPGAs, and sensors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in hands-on electrical hardware development.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade electronics for real-world systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
- Fluent with tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or equivalent.
Expertise
- Power electronics and energy systems for mobile platforms.
- Digital and analog circuit design, simulation, and layout best practices.
- RF system design and EMI/EMC-aware layout techniques.
They require the following experience across all roles:
Experience across unmanned or electric vehicles, firmware development in C/C++ and embedded system integration, working on functional safety (e.g. ISO 26262) systems and experience with high-reliability systems and testing to industry standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, etc.) would be highly preferred.
