We’re looking for a Product Manager, Content UX to join our team at Snap Inc!
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives and new feature development aimed at increasing user engagement with public and creator-driven content across Snapchat.
- Surface meaningful and relevant content to users in Snapchat via new entry points and other UX improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to craft and execute on impactful growth strategies, with a heavy emphasis on experimentation, system performance, and cross-surface integration.
- Improve message clarity and trustworthiness by adding social proof elements and other copy alternatives to improve engagement with relevant content to a user
- Oversee the development of failover mechanisms and other performance protections to ensure smooth user experiences
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to develop a technical product strategy and translate it into a prioritized, data-driven roadmap
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to grasp and discuss complex technical concepts and trade-offs with engineering and design teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and make informed decisions
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a platform, UX, or technical role
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Direct experience with communication technologies, APIs, and services

Compensation and Benefits
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $173,000-$259,000 annually. Zone B: $164,000-$246,000 annually. Zone C: $147,000-$220,000 annually. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
