Overview
Join to apply for the SkillBridge Fixed-Wing Pilot (GFL) role at Guardian Flight, LLC. This SkillBridge program is open to active-duty U.S. military service members and runs for 90 days during the final six months of active-duty service. During the SkillBridge period, the service member retains military pay and benefits and is not compensated by GMR/Guardian Flight. SkillBridge program start dates align with company indo schedules and Service Member availability.

Global Medical Response (GMR) is an authorized SkillBridge provider offering civilian work experience in the medical response industry through training, internships, and on-the-job experience. This opportunity is available to transitioning service members only and may lead to consideration for current open positions after completion.
GMR teams deliver medical care and related services globally. GMR supports veterans, military spouses, and active-duty service members through recognized hiring initiatives and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations involving Company aircraft are compliant with Federal Aviation Regulations, Guardian Flight EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations.
- Operate the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the Fixed Wing Flight Manual.
- Monitor forecast changes and current weather conditions.
- Conduct preflight of the aircraft prior to starting a shift or accepting transports or flights; document discrepancies and notify maintenance with corrective actions.
- Remain rested and prepared for duty and stay current with weather and forecast changes.
Qualifications
- Experience (Line Pilot) for PC-12 and King Air C90/B200 and Lear 45 variants as listed below:
- PC-12
- 2,500 total flight hours
- 2,000 fixed wing hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 cross country hours
- 100 night hours
- 75 instrument hours (with at least 50 actual)
- Education and Credentials :
- Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) Required.
- Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- Must have a valid and currently unexpired driver’s license
- High school diploma or better
- QUALIFICATIONS: KING AIR C90/B200
- 2,500 total flight hours
- 2,000 Fixed Wing hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 Cross Country hours
- 500 multi-engine hours
- 100 night hours
- 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
- QUALIFICATIONS: LEAR 45
- 4,000 Fixed Wing hours
- 1,000 Turbine hours
- 500 Crew Environment hours
- EMS Flight Experience preferred
- ATP-ME required
- Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- FAA First Class Medical (6 Months)
- Must have a valid and currently unexpired driver's license
- High school diploma or better
