Responsibilities

  • Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management
    Forecast and communicate material, engineering, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers. Manage the flow of materials through MRP systems to minimize inventory risk and meet dynamic business needs. Drive the transition from Development to production, providing feedback on design for manufacturability.
  • Process Development Documentation and Standardization
    Outline and develop a robust process for managing and communicating status of material tracking. Align with the overall PLC process and integrate towards standard sustaining support process. Ensure process is well defined and utilized across the entire organization.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Planning
    Lead the Materials Core Team to coordinate NPI deliverables via matrix management. Collaborate with engineering to interpret requirements and align timing and schedules.
  • Schedule & Risk Management
    Manage critical path obstacles for new or complex parts and assemblies. Monitor program readiness, report progress against plan, and maintain visibility through key performance indicators. Communicate daily priorities and schedule changes with production and external suppliers to support the evolving production requirements during the NPI development process.
  • Continuous Improvement & Analytics
    Leverage supply chain analytics and reporting to guide decision-making. Proactively identify bottlenecks and initiate improvements for planning effectiveness.
  • Project Support & Documentation
    Track and report NPI-related performance, manage ECO impacts on supply chain, and ensure readiness of documentation across R&D, field service, and production.

Qualifications

  • Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred for senior roles.
  • Experience
    4–6 years (or more) in NPI, project planning, supply chain, or program management—ideally in high-tech or semiconductor sectors. Demonstrated track record managing multidisciplinary teams and complex programs.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
    Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel, dashboards, budgeting (Opex/Capex), reporting tools, and statistics/forecasting.
  • Soft Skills
    Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Able to influence without authority, communicate complex requirements clearly, and manage under pressure. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
