Senior Data Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Compensation: $87,000–$110,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits

Important:

  • You must currently live within commuting distance of Washington, DC and be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).
  • No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship available. Applications from candidates who cannot meet these requirements will not be considered .

Responsibilities

  • Analyze fundraising and donor data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and guide strategy.
  • Develop user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations to inform leadership decisions.
  • Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling to improve donor segmentation, retention, and acquisition.
  • Partner with development and fundraising teams to translate data insights into actionable campaign strategies.
  • Leverage APIs and CRM integrations to enhance donor data quality and ensure seamless, automated reporting.
  • Maintain robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and quality assurance checks.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on data interpretation and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional data analysis experience , preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
  • Advanced skills in Tableau and proficiency in SQL, Python, or R .
  • Proven ability to turn raw data into actionable, high-impact insights.
  • Solid communication skills—capable of presenting complex findings to non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
