Overview

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for all cleaning activities necessary to maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility and office areas, ensuring products meet local and federal regulations and are safe and wholesome. The role supports compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning the factory exterior, washrooms, restrooms, and/or office areas
- Responsible for structure cleaning
- Complete all SAP/ISO paperwork and Safety Training to comply with existing and new requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the department and follow GMPs and Food Safety Regulations
- Participate in Bloodborne Pathogens and glass cleanup programs
- Follow all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
About You
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
- Teamwork and cooperation; genuine intention to work cooperatively with others
- Flexibility and initiative; ability to adapt and work effectively with various situations, individuals, and groups
- Exposure to excessive noise, heat, cold, and dust
- Must be able to move freely throughout the manufacturing facility
- Some mild chemical exposure
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
