Job Responsibilities
Own and publish master build schedules aligned with capacity and customer commitments through monthly reviews. Own the strategy and provide guidance behind the schedule for the planning team to manage day-to-day maintenance and execution. Deconflict and prioritize material constraints for past due orders. Ensure closed-loop feedback between planning and production to continuously refine system inputs. Improve visibility and communication of shortages, delays, and priorities across departments by implementing proactive shortage tracking and capacity checks. Lead recurring shortage reviews with Supply Chain to prevent last minute disruptions. Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans and ensure leadership visibility. Establish and track planning KPIs (OTD, WIP aging, MPS adherence). Monitor manufacturing order aging and drive timely execution to reduce WIP stagnation. Audit MRP recommendations to ensure alignment with actual demand, lead times, and inventory strategy. Implement exception-based reporting to flag anomalies in MRP outputs and drive corrective actions including: review and maintain manufacturing parameters (e.g., lead times, lot sizes, safety stock) to ensure MRP accuracy, validate BOM and routing accuracy to prevent planning errors and production delays. Standardize planning processes/documentation and implement cross training to support scalability, onboarding & elimination of single point of failures. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve schedule stability. Mentor and develop the planning team for stronger overall effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role in manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills required. Experienced skills in Microsoft applications required.

Pay range: $120k - $135k
