The Food and Beverage business is seeking a qualified wastewater Business Development Manager to extend our market reach through targeted discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will lead, leverage Ecolab resources, and drive new customer acquisition. This person will join and inspire a team of associates to achieve our company vision. The successful candidate will acquire new customers through identification, prioritization, strategic analysis, and sales plan development/execution. Business development will require working closely with marketing and sales leaders to develop and execute growth strategies by market segment. Responsibilities

Drive new customer acquisition Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines Research, identify, and define market and product application opportunities within water treatment for prospective customers Collaborate with sales representatives and Corporate Account Managers in making industry-specific technical/application related sales calls and presentations to win new business Leverage knowledge of industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making, and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline Develop clear transition plans and directly support new business startups; ensure programs are working and value documentation is completed Transition customers to the account management team responsible for post-sales support

Position Details

This position is based in the Southeastern region of the United States Territory covers the SE Region of the US 50% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree 10 years of successful technical outside sales experience utilizing a consultative approach Industrial water treatment experience Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) Self-motivated, pro-active, result-oriented professional with the ability to work with minimal direction Excellent team orientation, proactivity, and sense of urgency in supporting business growth and market leadership Strong communication skills Knowledge of Total Plant Assessments or related experience

The total compensation range for this position is $125,100-$187,700, including base pay and target incentive based on performance. Compensation is influenced by experience, education, training, geography, and other factors. We provide minimum wage and overtime compliance.
