The Senior Project Manager will deliver and operate complex projects at the intersection of hardware and software. This highly technical position requires a holistic grasp of the complete SDLC, Azure cloud services, software and hardware architecture, IoT, advanced sensing solutions, and AI data analytics. Key Responsibilities Lead, plan, and oversee multifaceted projects that integrate both hardware and software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines. Engage with technical teams across development and operations, contributing to risk assessments and monitoring overall project health. Coordinate stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, facilitating clear communication to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Bridge technical and business teams, translating complex details into actionable plans for all parties involved.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Ferrovial Technical Office: uphold standards in processes, architecture, technology stack, and quality assurance across cybersecurity, data management, cloud services, technology, and DevOps. Cintra Concessions: liaise with end users, incorporating feedback to meet operational needs during deployment and operation. Cintra Product Owner: align on functionality and forward-looking development roadmap. Vendors: oversee insource and outsource vendors responsible for the full software development lifecycle and ongoing operational support.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in IT, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related Business Degree. Postgraduate education desired. Texas licensed P.E. welcomed but not required. Extensive experience managing large-scale technology projects in transportation or similar technical environments. Deep technical knowledge spanning cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), DevOps, software/hardware architecture, IoT, and sensing technologies. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills. Experience in regulated environments with SOX and RAMP compliance is welcomed but not required.
