Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that support the effectiveness of daily track inspections, track maintenance activities and mentoring based on current and evolving business processes for the Infrastructure Department, utilizing WMATA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) databases and supporting applications integration within the Infrastructure environment and applications across WMATA. Mentor WMATA Infrastructure Management Staff on the use and reporting features of the Superuser-level Maximo EAM system and supporting applications, as directed by the Maintenance Optimization and Technology Improvements (MOTI) Director/Management Team. Comply with WMATA ethics and integrity rules and policies related to intellectual property use and distribution. Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of rail experience, including at least one (1) year of track inspection and maintenance program analysis experience. Bachelors degree in computer science, business administration, management, information technology, or a related field from an accredited university. Experience with track conditions and defects in accordance with TRST-1000 Track Maintenance and Inspection Standards and WMATA Design Criteria. Demonstrable experience creating and writing reports and using Power BI to create dashboards that clearly convey information from the reports. Superuser-level Maximo expertise with SQL development for performance measuring activities; capable of installing, configuring and troubleshooting database connection software such as Oracle SQL Developer; strong knowledge of database concepts (SELECTs, joins, data types, data optimization and integrity) and backend query development; extensive track inspection data collection and analysis experience; ability to coordinate with IT staff to support system integration for track inspection data recording and compliance; ability to develop and implement Job Plans and Preventive Maintenance programs within the EAM system based on business plan requirements. Extensive knowledge of WMATA systems used to record and report track inspections, track defects, and other MOW metrics (e.g., MaxTrax) and SME-level Maximo skills related to MOW processes. Ability to support the Infrastructure performance group with development and ongoing review of performance tools (Cognos, Maximo, MaxTrax, Optram) and to develop dashboards and reports for the systems that support track inspection data recording and compliance. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, especially SharePoint. Salary Range
