Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst works to ensure the effective performance of computer information systems used in the hospital. This role is responsible for managing, monitoring, tracking and troubleshooting problems or challenges within hospital clinical information systems. Assist in the management of various hospital clinical information systems including Radiology PACs, hospital EMR, LIS, RIS, HIS and other systems as assigned. Lead clinical projects as assigned in the delivery and support of hospital computer systems. May be required to train new employees and provide in-services to existing staff members and physicians. Modify and maintain preventative maintenance program for clinical hospital systems as assigned. Assist in installation of all hardware and software systems including upgrades, as necessary. Provide clinical knowledge of workflows to create proposals for potential process improvements. Prepare manuals and user guides for training purposes for end users. Other duties as assigned. Requires participation in IS staff rotational call schedule. Benefits

Technical School or Associates degree in Healthcare related field or 3-5 years experience as a Systems Analyst or equivalent required. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills required. Clinical licenses or certifications must be maintained. Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, timelines and priorities in fast paced environment required. Sound understanding of hospital workflows with ability to work with all levels of clinical personnel. Ability to train and educate others.
