Overview Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Manager - Hawaii Licensed who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Honolulu, HI.

Candidate must become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of the project. Will represent the project function of RME (Responsible Managing Employee) and represent Hitachi for licensing activities. A critical component to ensuring the project is performed to the standard of Hawaii license & regulations. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Required Skills
Experience working in major projects in Hawaii. Possess current license classification "A" for General Engineering and "C-13" for Electrical Contractor. Strong Leadership and Communication Skills. Desired Certifications
License "B" for General Building and "C-48" for Structural Steel Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical background Languages

English Proficiency Salary and Compliance The salary range for this position is $93,000-$139,500. Final pay is determined by the candidate’s experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location. Note on Compliance In accordance with the DOT’s FRA and FTA programs, Hitachi’s substance screening program tests pre-employment candidates and current employees, as required for safety-sensitive positions.
