Responsibilities
As a Visual UX Designer, you will be hands-on, working alongside a talented team of designers, researchers and technologists focused on the digital aesthetics of our Fire TV device experiences.
You will utilize your strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, color palette, typography, iconography and illustrations.
You are at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract, building consensus, and then driving that vision into concise design deliverables.
As a tastemaker and visual storyteller, you will advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products.
This role is based in Seattle, WA.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards
Demonstrative experience crafting design concepts that inform the future vision for a digital product – and collaborating with motion designers, illustrators, and content creators

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
