iQuasar, LLC is seeking to fill an Senior Software Engineer position in Herndon, VA. iQuasar (pronounced as i-kwey-zahr), a Northern Virginia based technology company specializing in Information Technology and Telecommunications Consulting, Staffing, and Software Development and Implementation services. • Position: Senior Software Engineer
• Location: Herndon, VA
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse.
• With Sponsor oversight, manage the implementation of new software tools and subsystems.
• Translate detailed design into software.
• Conduct development activities such as coding, testing, debugging and refining the software.
• Prepare documentation such as program-level, user-level and security documentation.
• Enhance software to improve efficiency.
• Deploy and maintain a cloud-based infrastructure to support a web application with micro services backend.
• Decompose requirements.
• Develop key features and enhancements.
• Work with other systems engineers and developers.

Required Experience:

• Development experience with Angular, Phyton, and/or Java.
• Experience developing in SalesForce or the desire to learn.
• Experience developing Artificial Intelligence or the desire to learn.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud technologies and services as well as respective general practices and processes.
• Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Clearance is required.
