About Britehouse Britehouse is Eventbrite’s new live entertainment company with a clear mission: to build iconic destinations and experiences that people can step inside. We develop and operate immersive exhibitions, interactive environments, and story-driven shows grounded in both iconic IP and original worlds. Our focus is not just on building shows, but on creating cultural moments that connect communities and stand the test of time.
Backed by the reach and data of a public company but run with the speed and hunger of a founder-led startup, Britehouse is here to set the standard for the next generation of experiential entertainment.
The Role We’re hiring an
Executive Creative Director
to lead all creative development at Britehouse from initial pitch through execution.
This is not just another creative leadership role. This is a founding role, shaping the DNA of the company from day one.
This role is ideal for a working creative leader with a background in experiential design, theatrical production, set design, or large-scale live shows and deep experience working with licensed IP and studio partners. You know how to bring spatial stories to life, guide creative through production, and work collaboratively to align bold ideas with business and operational realities.
We need a creative leader who listens, collaborates, and finds solutions. Someone that can create experiences that connect emotionally and perform commercially. Execution matters here. Vision only works if it becomes reality.
What You'll Do
Lead the creative vision, storytelling, and guest experience for all Britehouse projects; licensed and original
Be hands-on in early development: writing, sketching, prototyping, and building pitch decks
Develop creative strategy and concept packages for internal approval and studio/licensor pitches
Build and manage a lean, high-performing creative team as the business scales
Collaborate with Production/Operations and Finance leads on feasibility, timeline, and budget alignment
Oversee the design process through installation, ensuring creative intent is realized
Champion guest experience through spatial design, scenic, interactivity, and narrative pacing
Serve as a creative lead in meetings with studios, licensors, and brand partners
Regular travel is required, both for partner meetings and on-site creative reviews during production and installation phases.
What We're Looking For
10+ years in creative leadership roles in experiential, live shows, immersive, theme parks, exhibitions, or theater
Proven experience working with major studios and IP partners
A hands-on creative with strong instincts in spatial storytelling, set/scenic design, and narrative arc
Strong portfolio of executed, large-scale live or experiential projects
Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach able to align creative with commercial and operational goals
Excellent communicator and visual storyteller, comfortable presenting to both creatives and executives
Fluent in the full creative development process from blue sky to build
Ideally based in or open to relocating to Las Vegas or San Francisco for regular in-person collaboration.
Bonus Points
Experience launching touring exhibitions or scalable global projects
Familiarity with scenic, AV, fabrication, and interactive technology
Proficiency in design tools
Global perspective or multilingual
