Role Summary KCI is seeking a

Regional Practice Leader (RPL)

for our Facilities Construction Management group — a leadership role combining technical expertise, strategic vision, and business management to drive growth and success of multiple practices within the company. The RPL has direct reports in the Mid-Atlantic and South Regions and supports growing Facilities CM services in the West and North. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Planning Lead all Facilities Construction Management technical practices. Current portfolio includes Healthcare, Research, Higher Education, K-12, and Federal clients. Project delivery services include Owner’s Representative, General Contracting, Design-Build, At-Risk, Multi-Prime, Third-Party Special Inspection, as well as Forensic and QC Inspection. Provide guidance and support to all Facilities CM staff to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Collaborate with other regional practices to leverage shared expertise and implement best practices. Contribute to the development and execution of growth strategies and business plans. Partner with other Regional Practice Leaders to align on organizational goals and drive collective success. Foster a culture of performance excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Business Development & Client Relationships Drive business development efforts, expanding services beyond the current client base. Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify opportunities to introduce new services or expand into new markets. Share project and client leads with other regional practice leaders to grow cross-disciplinary opportunities. Represent KCI in professional organizations, industry events, and community outreach. Monitor market trends to inform annual business planning and long-term strategies. Recruitment, Retention & Development Support recruiting efforts to attract top Facilities CM talent. Prepare and deliver annual performance appraisals for assigned staff. Ensure compliance with KCI policies and procedures. Recommend technical training as well as management and leadership development programs. Financial Management & Reporting Collaborate with leadership to develop the annual budget and meet targets. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Negotiate scope, schedule, and fee estimates for large or significant projects. Operate within corporate and project budget parameters and manage contracts, change orders, invoicing, and P&L statements. Project Management & Execution Ensure effective utilization of personnel. Provide oversight of company vehicle leases, testing equipment, PPE, safety equipment, and trainings. Provide technical oversight, mentoring, and project staff development. Serve as Project Manager for large or high-profile projects. Develop and implement project-specific safety plans and maintain client communication. Specialized Experience Professional Engineer (PE), Design-Build Professional (DBIA), and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred but not required. Proven experience leading complex facilities construction projects. Strong business development, client relationship, and strategic planning skills. Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Required * Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience, or 14 years of equivalent experience.

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registration Required * Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Training within six months of start date. Certificates, licenses, and/or Registration Preferred * Professional license or certification within the field of expertise Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
