JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work to serve innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you will work on some of the most advanced construction projects across the country, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals. Key Role Responsibilities - Core

Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment; investigates safety incidents and retrains staff as needed. Manages subcontractors and the overall job workflow. Oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO for a project scope. Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work. Coordinates and manages site care, custody and control. Leads meetings including daily standups and weekly trade meetings. Attends and participates in progress and project OAC meetings. Creates, manages, and adjusts the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager. May track and monitor project budget and costs using project management system reports. Communicates key project information to owners, design teams, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers and other departments. Follows project filing and documentation system; updates drawings, logs and inspection records. Approves or records unit cost information for weekly reports and completes daily reports and tracking. Evaluates progress on self-perform work and makes adjustments as needed. Manages material and equipment needs for the project. Supports procurement and approval processes (MOC and DLSC). Assists in selecting formwork, tools and equipment for self-perform operations. Manages timecard approval to ensure accurate hours and cost codes. Ensures quality compliance via specifications, QA/QC and related resources. Supports project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating with owner, architect and authorities. Gains understanding of the project pursuit process and methodology. Participates with field leadership to develop project pre-plans and monitor throughout the lifecycle. Partners with field leadership to establish field staffing and with project management to identify schedule and cost impacts of changes. Participates in negotiations with owners and architects to gain agreement on project changes. Participates in project reviews and buy-out meetings with subcontractors and vendors. Understands and applies owner and subcontractor contracts. Identifies and recruits top talent; promotes diversity and inclusion in accordance with JE Dunn policy. Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

Manages fairly complex stand-alone projects from start to finish. Assumes responsibility for management, scheduling, production, safety and quality on the project or portion of it. Identifies, understands and actively manages project risks. Uses experience to identify problems and recommends solutions for team implementation. Manages deliverables from internal resources and functions such as IPS and logistics. Participates in project pursuits and negotiations for changes with owners/architects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to perform work accurately, completely and timely. Verbal and written communication skills (Intermediate). Ability to conduct effective presentations (Intermediate). Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate). Understanding of construction management methods and project processes. Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team. Proficiency in project management and accounting software (Intermediate). Proficiency in JE Dunn construction technology and scheduling software (Intermediate). Knowledge of Lean principles (Intermediate). Knowledge of trades, self-perform, and labor productivity (Intermediate). Ability to manage budgets, profitability and generate future work through relationships (Intermediate). Knowledge of layout, crane signaling and rigging (Intermediate). Ability to understand document changes and impact on schedules; build cross-functional relationships. Education

High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred). Experience

5+ years construction experience. 3+ years field supervision experience. Experience with Lean principles (Preferred). Working Environment

Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel and/or relocation may be required. Exposure to extreme conditions (hot or cold). Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs. Frequent activity: standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
