We are currently seeking a Director of Front Office to join our team. Reporting directly to the Resort Manager, this leader will oversee the complete guest journey, from arrival through departure, ensuring each interaction reflects the Miraval promise of imaginative, authentic, and meaningful wellness experiences. This role is about leading people, shaping moments, and elevating service with both vision and care. Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of Front Office operations through both short- and long-term planning. Develop and manage budgets, labor plans, and objectives within approved guidelines. Proactively analyze guest feedback and resolve concerns with creativity and care. Oversee room inventory management and the full transportation process from pre-arrival through departure. Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to elevate efficiency, consistency, and colleague performance. Inspire, coach, and develop team members in alignment with Miraval service standards. Step in as needed to support Front Office operations hands-on. Design, implement, and elevate training processes for new hires to ensure seamless onboarding, consistent standards, and long-term success. Ensure flawless operations and cash handling compliance. Set clear expectations, manage processes, and hold the team accountable for results. Partner with Human Resources on staffing strategies, recruitment, and onboarding. Represent the Front Office in senior leadership meetings, presenting performance metrics and operational updates. Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds 4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience (typically with Hyatt) With opening hotels, previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred Service oriented style with professional presentation skills At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset Must possess strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, ability to provide exceptional customer service and improve the bottom line Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills Why Join Us At Hyatt and Miraval, colleagues thrive in an environment that demands excellence and rewards commitment.
