Overview The Quality Control (QC) Microbiology Associate II is an energetic professional with a background in microbiology and environmental monitoring. This role is responsible for performing environmental and personnel monitoring, microbial enumeration, isolation and identification of microorganisms, and reporting data in accordance with SOPs and cGMP guidelines. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a cleanroom environment for extended time periods and be familiar with aseptic gowning and material handling procedures. Key Responsibilities
Perform environmental monitoring (EM) in cleanrooms. Complete documentation for QC activities including EM data, material preparation, equipment logs and inventory logs. Draft and review data reports. Perform microbial enumerations. Perform microbial isolations and identifications. Write and revise QC Microbiology procedures as needed for process improvement. Generate semi-annual and annual EM trend reports. Write/participate in EM investigations, deviation, and CAPAs. Maintenance of the laboratory, supplies, and equipment. Perform growth promotion testing as needed. Review QC data including Environmental Monitoring data. Qualifications
BS in biological sciences or a related field is required. 2+ years of relevant experience in Microbiology laboratory and cleanroom manufacturing environment. Experience with data processing software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint is desirable. The ability to operate for lengthy periods of time while gowning in cleanroom environment is expected. Experience in drafting documents such as SOPs or reports is desirable. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High initiative, organized, and conscientious record keeping skills, strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to utilize troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Note:
Pay Range: $119,000—$165,000 USD Adicet fosters a collaborative, high-performing environment by prioritizing in-person engagement. To enhance teamwork and communication, employees are required to be onsite at least three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday mandatory), with some roles requiring full-time onsite presence.
