Overview
Senior Data Analyst at TrainingPeaks. As part of the Peaksware portfolio, TrainingPeaks builds software that supports athletes, coaches, and teams. You drive analytics projects through all phases, break problems into concrete questions, execute analyses, and translate findings into clear recommendations. You will sit with the Data Analytics team and collaborate across the company, reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics. Responsibilities
Lead the analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, recommend actionable changes, and highlight areas of concern to inform business objectives and improvements. Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to surface key business data and metrics. Partner with product, marketing, growth, and engineering teams to define new data points and measures of success. Perform exploratory investigations into consumer subscription data and support data-driven decision making across teams. Educate others in data literacy and advocate for data-informed decision making; mentor teammates on technical and business skills. Provide feedback on analytics projects and analyses; identify opportunities to improve data team processes for efficiency and impact. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Background in statistics, data analytics, data science, economics, or computer engineering. Very strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python for data analysis. Experience with A/B test design and interpretation and knowledge of statistical methods. Experience mentoring others to evaluate data, extract insights, and address significant business needs. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in implementing practices and influencing strategies. Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to create clear visualizations and present data to diverse audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence cross-functional teams. Ability to distill problem definitions from informal business requirements and manage ambiguity. Experience with TrainingPeaks or Peaksware products. Experience with consumer subscription or B2B business metrics. Experience with modern BI analytics tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker). Experience with event tracking tools (Segment, Mixpanel, Snowplow, etc.). Expertise in product, marketing, growth, or operations analytics. Degrees are not required; all forms of continuing education and certifications are valued. Compensation and Benefits
Colorado compensation range: $94,874-$158,124. Final compensation determined by experience, skills, and certifications. This role is eligible for variable compensation, including a bonus. Benefits and Perks
