We are seeking software engineers to join one of three core product squads that shape our technical direction and deliver measurable impact. The Roles
Software Engineer III
on three distinct squads: the
Payments Differentiation Squad , the
Clarity Squad , and the
Payment Workflows Squad . Payments Differentiation Squad:
Drive innovation and advance patient affordability by experimenting with and launching ML-powered payment features in collaboration with AI and data science teams. Improve our checkout flow, which processes billions of dollars in payments annually, and mentor peer engineers to take ownership of their projects. Clarity Squad:
Improve healthcare bill transparency and help patients understand and manage their finances. Design, develop, and deploy new full-stack features. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust, production-ready software. Payment Workflows Squad:
Design and implement end-to-end, full-stack features to support patients on their payment journey. Improve speed and reliability of existing applications and uphold code quality through thoughtful PR reviews. What We Look For
Strong technical leadership with a track record of driving measurable impact across the stack. (4-6 years of experience preferred, but not required). Hands-on coding and problem-solving ability, including handling complex edge cases, optimizing for efficiency, and delivering robust solutions within time constraints. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly and ask insightful clarifying questions. Commitment to engineering best practices: clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and proactive management of technical debt. Entrepreneurial mindset thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoys solving complex problems. Experience with modern languages and frameworks React, TypeScript, Python/Django or similar. Salary/Hourly Range: $185,000 - $215,000 Equity eligible Competitive benefits and wellness package *Subject to location, experience, and education What We Offer to the Ideal Candidate
