PLC Programmer Position

This role offers the outstanding chance to define and develop PLC programs using Siemens automation systems, ensuring flawless functionality and integration of vital infrastructure components such as chilled water systems, exhaust scrubbers, MAUs, bulk chemical distribution, ultra-pure water, and wastewater systems. Your powerful skills and expertise will help us maintain our competitive edge in the industry! Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs using Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and FasTrak 505 Workshop. Deploy and support Siemens automation hardware, ensuring seamless integration and resolving issues across legacy and emerging platforms. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure system reliability, efficient performance, and successful commissioning. Research and test new PLC hardware for upcoming projects. Program, support, and maintain active systems with minimal to zero downtime. Document PLC code, system changes, and configurations thoroughly. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering or related engineering fields, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in PLC programming, hardware, and system architecture. Proficiency in Siemens PLC hardware and programming tools (Step 7, TIA Portal). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FasTrak 505 Workshop. Knowledge of industrial protocols (PROFIBUS, PROFINET). Skilled in interpreting P&IDs and operational sequences. Familiarity with InTouch HMI systems or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
