Do you have the skills to support server software installations performed by development, test, and deployment teams? As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Spectrum, you will perform production support tasks including troubleshooting of system and data issues for both divisional and national systems. You will also be in direct contact with the Production Engineering support team and be the first line of contact for production concerns.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Work with developers, testers, and deployment teams to create software deployment plans Write and update automated scripts for installation of server software products Configure necessary hardware or virtual machines and operating environments as needed Work with developer and hardware teams to update infrastructure and OS for applications Perform production installations and upgrades of server software products Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and/or GitLab Work with developers and infrastructure teams to install or upgrade third party software Monitor a system's performance, and reliability as well as the daily data processing Identify and resolve complex issues as part of a team Mentor less experienced engineers Participate in project-related stand-up meetings Review and provide feedback for all external facing user documentation, including on-line help WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications Experience:
5+ years dynamic scripting language experience such as Python, Ruby, or Groovy Experience:
5+ years experience with Linux or other Unix systems Experience:
3+ years deploying software such as Pexpect, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible Education:
Bachelor's Degree or technical field or related work experience Technical Skills:
Well-versed in automating software deployments using tools (Puppet, Chef, Python, Ansible) Technical Skills:
Experience with software source control tools such as Perforce or GitHub Technical Skills:
Experience with Linux shell scripting environments such as bash Technical Skills:
Thorough understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Skills:
Extensive experience packaging and delivering software to a production environment Skills:
Well-versed in automating software deployments using tools (Puppet, Chef, Python, Ansible) Skills:

$88,330.00 and $156,530.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
