Overview
Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade network infrastructure supporting critical operations. This role requires expertise in modern networking technologies and protocols to ensure high-availability, secure, and scalable network services across the healthcare environment. Core Responsibilities
Engineer, deploy, configure, and maintain network systems and monitoring solutions to guarantee optimal stability, reliability, and performance Design and implement robust routing architectures using BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocols Ensure seamless, fault-tolerant network communication across all Center facilities and systems Advanced Network Technologies
Architect and support sophisticated network solutions including: MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) for optimized traffic engineering and service delivery EVPN (Ethernet VPN) and VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) for scalable data center and campus network segmentation Modern overlay and underlay network architectures supporting high availability and performance requirements Strategic Planning & Implementation
Conduct comprehensive functional and technical analysis for network infrastructure planning, design, and deployment Develop detailed engineering specifications and implementation strategies for evolving network environment Execute network hardware and system upgrades following ITIL best practices and change management procedures Manage medium to large-scale network infrastructure projects with varying levels of complexity, risk, and organizational impact Lead strategic initiatives for evaluating emerging technologies and optimizing existing network systems Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to assess new products, procedures, and workflow requirements Technology Research & Innovation
Research and evaluate cutting-edge networking technologies including: Dynamic routing protocols and optimization techniques MPLS-based service architectures Data center virtualization and software-defined networking solutions Provide expert technical guidance on network system capabilities, limitations, and implementation requirements Stay current with healthcare industry networking standards and compliance requirements Key Qualifications
Extensive experience with enterprise routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) Proven expertise in MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, and modern data center technologies Strong project management skills with experience leading complex infrastructure initiatives Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and change management processes Understanding of healthcare network requirements and compliance standards Seniority level
