The Office of Information Technology is seeking an experienced and proactive

Project Manager

to oversee the coordination, execution, and stability of IT project-oriented work efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered

on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards . The Project Manager will establish and implement project management methodologies, assemble and manage project plans, monitor team efforts, and proactively resolve issues. This mid-level management role also requires mentoring project leaders, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning enterprise stakeholders toward successful outcomes. Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

Manage coordination, status reporting, and stability of IT projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. Methodologies & Processes:

Implement consistent project management processes tailored to IT initiatives. Planning & Execution:

Develop project plans, define scope, assign resources, and monitor daily progress. Milestone Tracking:

Track and adjust project milestones, resources, and deliverables as required. Enterprise Communication:

Facilitate communication across business and technical teams, impacting scope, risk, and resources. Leadership & Mentorship:

Manage one or more medium-to-high complexity projects while mentoring project leaders and PM staff. Resource & Change Management:

Apply resource allocation and change management practices to ensure balanced workloads and efficient execution. Executive Support:

Assist Program Managers and senior leadership in prioritizing IT opportunities to achieve organizational goals. Required Skills

6+ years IT work experience, including 4+ years managing medium-to-large IT projects. Proven expertise in project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall). Strong leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic, shifting environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills

IT project management experience in government/public sector. Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM standards and practices. Hands-on experience with tools such as

MS Project, ServiceNow, OnePlan, JIRA, Trello, DevOps, SharePoint, O365, Kanban, Laserfiche . Strong command of soft skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage challenging conversations confidently. Background in statistical project data analysis. Education & Certifications

Required:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

Preferred:

Advanced certifications in SAFe, Lean, Six Sigma, or Scrum. Additional PMI certifications, ITIL certification, or Organizational Change Management training.
