Overview
The Role: The Main function of a Surveillance Officer is to protect the casino, its guests, and fellow employees by observing the gaming floor and all other areas of the casino via digital surveillance. Responsibilities
Knowledge of table games procedures, house rules, and ICMPs Monitor table games, slot floor, and all critical areas of the casino Monitor premises of all areas to detect crimes or disturbances, using closed circuit television monitors, and notify authorities if needed for corrective actions Basic knowledge of Colorado gaming laws Take and respond to radio calls Answer phone calls and record all information into a designated log Able to function in a multi-task situation Able to monitor multiple cameras Observe and report all infractions Basic understanding of video recording and camera equipment Communicate and implement department procedure in accordance with internal controls Complete surveillance reports and investigations Strong written and oral communication Strong sense of confidentiality Qualifications
3-5 years of casino/gaming experience preferred Colorado Division of Gaming License TIPs certification Ability to interpret a variety of instructions Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests Able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays; also work 6-day work weeks when required Whats In It For You
