Senior Civil Engineer - Stormwater Focused
We're looking for a talented Senior Civil Engineer to lead the growth of our stormwater practice and help shape the future of our water resources services. This is a high-impact role ideal for a motivated professional with a strong technical background, business acumen, and a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for public and private clients. As a key leader within our team, you will be instrumental in expanding our stormwater portfolio, mentoring junior staff, and building lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage stormwater projects from concept through construction, including drainage design, green infrastructure, and flood mitigation. Oversee project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with regulations, and on-time, on-budget performance. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and supporting proposal development. Collaborate across disciplines to integrate stormwater solutions into broader civil and site development projects. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in stormwater management. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. Professional engineering (PE) license. 10 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Certification/License Requirements: Professional Engineer Amount of Travel Required: 10% Skills and Abilities: Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
