The Microsoft Security organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission to secure digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as the security of our own internal estate. The Microsoft Security Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) team provides actionable data and customer insights to accelerate productivity and amplify product impact. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with experience in leveraging telemetry and customer feedback data at scale to produce actionable data and insights that drive business success.
Responsibilities
Build a deep understanding of the Microsoft Security business, technology, and customers.
Define strategies to deliver actionable product and customer insights that support CxE's business strategy.
Maintain a robust understanding of evolving Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and apply that understanding to deliver self-serve analytics through AI-powered experiences.
Establish and nurture collaborative stakeholder partnerships within the CxE organization and beyond, navigating ambiguity to identify priorities.
Partner with teams across Microsoft and within the Security division on data products that drive customer opportunities and revenue growth.
Communicate key outcomes to stakeholders and leadership effectively.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor\'s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience leveraging or delivering business analytics for a product, feature, or customer initiative to grow customer base, usage, or reduce churn.
3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies and data analytics tools.
4+ years of effective communication skills with the ability to deliver strategy/vision or tactical updates for a range of audiences.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. This includes the Microsoft Cloud Background Check at hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or initiative to market (design, market fit, launch, internal tools).
Demonstrated track record of thought leadership and self-directed execution.
Experience leveraging AI technologies to deliver data/insights.
Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Security products and their use cases.
Compensation and Benefits Product Management IC4 – typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD 119,800 – 234,700 per year. Location-specific ranges apply for San Francisco Bay Area and NYC metropolitan area (e.g., USD 158,400 – 258,000 per year).
